Founded in 1986, the Conway High School Educational Foundation (CHSEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering the opportunity to support and enhance educational opportunities in the classroom. The foundation operates as a vehicle through which the community can make tax-free donations to support educational opportunities in the classroom and beyond at Conway High School. The CHSEF supports Conway High School by giving faculty members the opportunity to submit grant requests for classroom equipment or funding for projects that are not included in the regular school budget. Through the years, the CHSEF has awarded teacher grants totaling more than $100,000.
The Foundation’s annual fundraiser is an awards banquet that honors outstanding alumni and educators by induction into the CHSEF Hall of Fame. It has been held annually since 1992, and the names of the honorees are found on plaques located in the lobby of Conway High School. Honorees’ accomplishments and accolades are the legacy of Whittemore and Conway High Schools, and proudly celebrate their contributions worldwide.
